Belfast is a compact city and is walkable. The conference venue is located in the city centre with many hotel options just a few minutes’ walk away.
Public transportation in the city is by bus. Bus routes and timetables are available here.
There are many taxi companies in Belfast. The two largest ones are FonaCab and Value Cabs. Uber operates in Belfast, but Lyft does not. Taxis are not allowed to pick up passengers on the street without prebooking. You should prebook a taxi by phone or through the taxi company’s app. Main travel locations such as the airports and Belfast Grand Central train and bus station have taxi ranks where taxis can be taken without booking.

Belfast is served by three airports.
George Best Belfast City Airport serves mostly national flights but also connects to several European destinations. It is about a 10 minute taxi drive away from city center and is served by Translink bus.
Belfast International Airport serves international destinations in Europe and the US, besides national destinations. It is about a half an hour taxi drive away from city center and is served by Translink bus.
Dublin Airport is a large hub airport and has most international connections. It connects to Belfast directly by several bus coaches, or by train when going through Dublin City. Trains and buses from Dublin arrive in Belfast at the Belfast Grand Central Station, which is a 10 minute walk away from the city centre.

Many of the buses between Dublin Airport and Belfast stop in Dublin City before serving the airport. As such, the same bus links can be considered as those for Dublin Airport.
The Enterprise train service connects Dublin to Belfast, namely Connolly Rail Station and Belfast Grand Central Station. From Belfast to Dublin, it can be booked on Translink, and from Dublin to Belfast, booking is via Irish Rail.
Ferries connect Great Britain to Belfast: Cairnryan in Scotland, Liverpool in England and Isle of Man. Some ferries connect to Larne, a smaller town north of Belfast, instead of Belfast Port. Main providers are
